# Dr. Vikram Singh > Head of AI at Mahindra Group. IIT Madras PhD. Enterprise AI executive. ## Biography Dr. Vikram Singh is Head of AI at Mahindra Group (April 2025–present), based in Mumbai, India. He is an IIT Madras PhD and IIT Patna M.Tech alumnus ("Double IITian"), with a decade of hands-on AI leadership across Indian and global enterprises spanning automotive, aviation, cloud, e-commerce, and defence. He co-founded IndiGo's AI Centre of Excellence (Lab37, 26 specialists, IIT Delhi collaboration) and built 6EskAI — India's first GPT-4 airline chatbot — which cut live-agent call volume from 14% to 2% and moved IndiGo's stock 6.37% in a single week. At Mahindra Group he architected mAIna, an autonomous voice, chat, and WhatsApp AI platform that has handled 500,000+ interactions and attributed Rs. 1.2 billion+ in revenue. Both projects were featured in Satya Nadella's Microsoft AI Coffee Table Book (2024 and 2025 editions respectively).
