Biography

Dr. Vikram Singh is Head of AI (GenAI Solutions) at Mahindra Group, a $29 billion conglomerate founded in 1945. He reports to the CEO of Mahindra's AI Division and runs the group-wide generative AI agenda across eight group businesses, an enterprise-wide remit equivalent to a Chief AI Officer mandate. He built the GenAI Solutions team from scratch to 25+ specialists. He has a PhD from IIT Madras and an M.Tech from IIT Patna (Best Dissertation Award), and thirteen years in AI: seven in research, six leading enterprise AI in industry. He has six first-author publications in IEEE, Elsevier CVIU, CVF WACV and SemEval (ACL).

At Mahindra he built mAIna, the group's enterprise agentic AI platform across voice, chat, WhatsApp and web. It has handled over 1 million customer calls, re-engaged 50,000+ dormant leads and drawn 1,700+ XUV 7XO enquiries within six weeks of launch. It is credited with Rs. 1.2 billion-plus in attributed revenue and absorbs the work of about 28 full-time agents. It was featured in Satya Nadella's Microsoft AI Coffee Table Book 2025.

At IndiGo, as Principal Data Scientist (Associate Director), he co-founded Lab37, the airline's AI Centre of Excellence, and built 6EskAI, India's first GPT-4 airline chatbot. 6EskAI cut live-agent dependency from about 14 % to 2 %. It was featured in the 2024 edition of the same book.
